Position Overview

Reporting to the DVP – TD & OE, the Manager of Learning & Development role will oversee the design, use, and continuous improvement of the suite of Learning & Development tools and systems that support a high-quality and engaging associate development experience.  This includes our LMS, and other platforms designed to provide tools that support associate performance and development.   This is a highly-visible role, providing subject matter expertise and trusted partnership to people across the business, aimed at bridging gaps in learning & development experiences and outcomes.  Expert ability in adult learning, business acumen, project management, and continuous improvement is critical in this role.  The Manager will strive to understand current and changing business and associate needs, develop best-fit tools, and collaborate with the TD & OE team to implement solutions.  Under DVP oversight, the Manager will assist with execution of broader Talent Development & Organizational Effectiveness initiatives.

  • Advanced skills in learning technologies, both UI & UX (LMS, experience & performance measures, e-Learning design, learning networks, etc.)

Qualifications - Skills, Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design & management of multifaceted learning technologies and tools.  Specifically - Qualtrics, Alchemy, Articulate, MS Teams & SharePoint, and SuccessFactors systems experience preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years advanced application of adult learning principles and best practices in project design.
  • Strong background of designing and implementing associate tools in support of both simple and complex learning & development programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced certification in learning & development, or a related field
  • High proficiency in use of MS Suite, eLearning platforms, and virtual conference tools.
  • Must be able to travel in the US & Canada, while generally working from both a company office and home office environment.
