About the Role
We are seeking a Receptionist / Front Office Administrator to join our team at our Alsip bakery. This role is responsible for professionally managing visitors, customers, and phone calls, while supporting various administrative functions that enable smooth business operations. You will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors and will support tasks such as document preparation, purchasing, mail processing, and office supply management.

Hours: 8am-5pm

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Provide front lobby reception coverage; receive and route a high volume of calls.
- Greet visitors, maintain visitor log, and issue visitor badges.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby, front office, and conference rooms.
- Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Create and receive purchase orders.
- Submit weekly temporary staffing hours.
- Create employee key cards.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail.
- Submit invoices to Accounts Payable.
- Order office supplies, uniforms, and shoes for employees.
- Maintain compliance with GMPs and workplace safety requirements.
- Foster effective working relationships across departments.
- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks.
- Support special projects and additional duties as assigned by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of office or administrative experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work normal office hours with flexibility as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, or Dayforce.
- Associate degree or administrative certifications.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods.
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, and stand as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
- Must have effective vision, hearing, and communication skills for safety and efficiency.
Salary Range: $18-$22 p/h
