About the Role

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

• Assemble and prepare cases for packaging, ensuring readiness for production needs
• Pack products, including clamshells and par-bake cookies, to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Operate and monitor packaging equipment, including tape machines and case erectors, for efficient workflow
• Seal and label cases correctly to meet quality and compliance standards
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of packaging materials and communicate shortages proactively
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area in adherence to sanitation standards
• Follow food safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines to maintain product integrity

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training in a manufacturing or packaging environment
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs
• Basic mechanical aptitude to operate packaging equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Experience in food manufacturing or bakery production environments
• Familiarity with automated packaging equipment and conveyor systems
• Knowledge of food safety practices (GMPs, sanitation standards)
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
