As a General Labor, Packing, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive team that produces high-quality baked goods for our customers. You will pack products according to case count and quality specifications, following the guidance of the Production Manager/Supervisor. Responsibilities:
- Packer grabs container from shelf.
- Packer grabs cookies and fills up container from the moving conveyor line, and places them inside a container.
- A packer fills the container and places it on a conveyor and/or fills the case with the containers that goes through a metal detector for the case erector to pack.
- Repeats step 1 and 2 continuously
- Packer is responsible for communicating and monitoring the cookie quality issues to Lead or Operator immediately.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
- Maintains and establishes effective working relationships.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Experience in the food industry is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- One year related experience and/or training
