Responsibilities:
- Awareness of the daily production shift schedule and coordinating, organizing, and assigning subordinates to work tasks.
- Verify floor batch time to assure dough is acceptable for forming units.
- Verify the texture of the dough to assure product units will develop through the processing system as expected.
- Set and verify that the process line control parameters are to specifications.
- Continually monitor line subordinates to ensure they are performing job tasks to quality specifications and standards.
- Assure that mechanical line moving parts are functioning as expected. Report any malfunctioning or potential mechanical failures to the supervisor.
- Assure that the line, and workstations, are maintained organize, and safe for work.
- Assure that GMP's are adhered to by employees and keep in constant communication with QA Department on dough conditions and quantity.
- Record Quality Control checks accurately and timely, and record weigh units to ensure the product is within weight specifications accurately and timely.
- Use Mii for all products run on the line and scan properly all downtime and changeovers.
- Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture. Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and reporting any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High School/GED highest level of education necessary.
- 1-2 years of food production or related experience.
- Ability to plan, direct, organize, and coordinate daily activities.
- Ability to function consistently within expected standards of operation, handling multiple tasks, executing job functions with interruptions, prioritizing job tasks, and dealing effectively with challenges and employees.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Quality and Safety are conscious in executing job functions.
- High Level of initiative and motivation in executing job functions.
