Logistics Operator (Freezer)

Responsibilities:

• Put production away as it’s produced            
• Ensure all production is entered into WMS within 10 minutes of receipt at warehouse.
• Pick orders following FEFO, customer requirements to ensure quality standards are met and order accuracy is verified
• Maintain the freezer racks, organizing part skids to maximize freezer capacity
• Load trucks as per the schedule
• Inspect trucks for cleanliness and to pre cool and fill out load record to ensure the load is correct
• Assist QA, Customer Service, Production, Maintenance and other departments in the warehouse as required
• Keep the freezer clean and orderly  
• Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual

Qualifications:

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

1. The majority of work in the bakery requires employees to stand on their feet for the entire 8-12 hour shift

2. Physical demands may also include reaching, bending, walking, lifting (up to a maximum of  50lbs) and performing repetitive actions

• ASPIRE BAKERIES Limited is a 24 hour/ 7 day manufacturing operation

• The temperature of the environment within the production area can range from 14 - 27 degrees Celsius depending on the department.

• The frozen warehouse may reach temperatures as low as -17.7 C
• The production areas are often loud, exceeding 85 decibels, due to the machinery that is running; earplugs are required to be worn while in the bakery at all times

• Depending on position, some employees may be exposed to dust; dust masks and respirators are available if required
