Job Title
•    Boxer, Bagels

Reporting to
•    Production Supervisor and Leadhand

Position Purpose 
To prepare cases of finished product, and transport them to the frozen warehouse

Key Accountabilities
Ensure food quality along with standard productivity

Responsibilities
•    Ensure to have all skids, racks, slip sheets, shrink wrap, trays and U-Pack bags supplied for shift               
•    Ensure Walkie is working properly
•    Ensure retail tape machine is in working order if needed, and the code is correct
•    Ensure to have the right best before date on each skid
•    Ensure ink and code is ready for frozen product
•    Check SU’s through SAP for mistakes
•    Ensure all assigned operator documentation is maintained and complete
•    Work closely to Machine Operator
•    Dump U-pack in the garbage compactor
•    If help is needed on the line, required to assist team members
•    Ensure a clean work area throughout the shift
•    Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality
•    Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
•    Adhere to GMP’s and Health and safety rules as outlined in employee handbook
•    Adhere to food safety practices and ensure they are being followed
•    Perform all other duties assigned

•    The majority of work in the bakery requires employees to stand on their feet for the entire  8-12 hour shift

•    ASPIRE BAKERIES Limited is a 24 hour/ 7 day manufacturing operation
•    The temperature of the environment within the production area can range from 58 - 80 degrees farenheit depending on the department  
•    The production areas are often loud, exceeding 85 decibels, due to the machinery that is running; earplugs are required to be worn while in the bakery at all times
•    Depending on position, some employees may be exposed to dust; dust masks and respirators are available if required
