Responsibilities
- Review dough schedule
- Fill flour sifters before beginning production and as needed through the shift
- Lift flour bags to put in pails and dispense them into the sifter in a tidy manner
- Responsible for watching and running line equipment
- Keep the packaging storage area clean and tidy, don’t leave any boxes open, and ensure they are being taped after using them
- Ensure that all slugs are in the box at the beginning and end of their shift
- Keep the work area clean and tidy throughout the shift and clean up after the shift
- Work closely to packing line crew
- Relieve for breaks and lunches and fill in when employees are absent
- Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook
- Adhere to food safety practices and ensure they are being followed
- Perform all other duties assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma / G.E.D required
- Previous line experience in the food industry preferred
