Position Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting the Retail Store team in fulfilling the duties required to operate an efficient and profitable retail outlet.

Key Accountabilities
To maintain an excellent level of front-line customer service, accuracy, and detail for all transactions and inquiries.

Responsibilities
• Operate the cash register and process the sale of merchandise
• Greet and interact with customers and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention
• Maintain the appearance of the store, some cleaning as required
• Stock shelves, checking for freshness - remove product if necessary
• Answer phone, takes orders for special request or large order requests
• Processes donation requests
•Ensure that the store is never left unattended, one person present at all times
•Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean environment
•Respond to customer complaints and comments
•Package product as required i.e. bagels, predeposit muffins, cookies
•Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality
•Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
•Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in employee handbook
oKeep work area clean and clear of hazards

•Strong front-line customer service skills
•Strong organizational skills
•Service oriented --- high need to please
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal & written)
•High level of accuracy and detailing
•Proficient and dependable

Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience 

Preferred
•High school diploma or equivalent
