As a Senior Planning Analyst you will lead the daily and weekly production scheduling for our bakery’s multiple lines, ensuring seamless coordination with operations, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance teams. This role involves creating and updating production plans in SAP, providing clear schedules, and adjusting plans based on daily performance insights to optimize production flow and minimize changeover. Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and maintaining the daily and weekly production plan for the bakery's multiple production lines
- Creating and updating the production in SAP
- Supporting the delivery of the production plan working with operations team, sanitation, engineering and maintenance
- Assist Corporate Planning with the long and short term rolling production plans
- Provide a weekly detailed schedule for all production lines
- Review the previous day’s production and implement changes to the schedule as required
- Minimize product changeover by effective planning and sequencing
- Participate in weekly production meetings and new development project meetings
- Responsible for any shorts explanation required daily
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, and Logistics to facilitate any emergency requests
- Maintain customer fill rate of 99.8% or better
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual
- Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook
- Ensure GMP’s and safe food handling practices are being followed
Qualifications:
- College diploma or University degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing and planning practices
- 5-7 years experience in a planning role, specifically in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of planning and scheduling processes and best practices
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong Multi-tasking and Problem-solving skills
- Flexibility with the ability to adapt, respond quickly, and manage change in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Organization and Project Management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
