About the Role
We are seeking a Regional Sr Manager, EHSS East/Canada to join our team, supporting multiple bakeries across the U.S. and Canada. As a Regional Sr Manager, EHSS East/Canada, you will ensure regulatory compliance and lead safety culture transformation across multiple locations. You will drive risk reduction, strengthen environmental programs, and coach site EHS teams to achieve world-class safety performance.
This role requires onsite support at bakeries across the U.S. and Canada, with approximately 25% travel, enabling close partnership with bakery leadership and frontline teams.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $112,000 - $150,000
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)
- Lead cultural change and promote a zero-accident safety mindset across multiple bakery locations.
- Develop and integrate EHSS programs that meet corporate and regulatory standards.
- Partner with bakery leadership to strengthen regulatory compliance and environmental programs.
- Conduct and support environmental and safety audits to identify hazards and mitigate risk.
- Monitor U.S. and Canadian EHSS regulations and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and develop site-based EHS personnel.
- Analyze EHSS performance trends and strengthen accident and near-miss
- investigations.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- 7+ years of EHSS experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, Environmental Science, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian EHSS regulations.
- Experience supporting multiple facilities across different regions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work safely around mechanical equipment and in variable weather and environmental conditions.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to support bakery locations across the U.S. and Canada.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Food manufacturing industry experience.
- M.S. in Occupational Safety or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ASP, CSP, or a Canadian equivalent.
- Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian safety programs and audits.
- Experience leading multi-site EHSS teams or initiatives.
