About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Ancaster bakery. As a Production Supervisor, you will be accountable for effectively managing production employees and ensuring smooth operation of the production line.
 

 

 

Shift & Schedule 

  • Shift: Rotating
  • Hours: i.e. 6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am

 

 

 

Compensation 

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000

 

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

  • Lead daily production operations to meet targets and maintain workflow.
  • Train, coach, and support team members and new hires.
  • Track labour, material use, and efficiency; report results and drive improvements.
  • Enforce Health & Safety, QA, GMP, and food safety standards.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to boost productivity and quality.
  • Complete additional duties and cross‑functional tasks as required.

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) 

  • Grade 12 education with strong verbal and written English skills.
  • 3–5 years of experience supervising employees.
  • Food industry experience and knowledge of current health & safety legislation (asset).
  • Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and direct teams effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including in ESL environments.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and organizational skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) 

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
