This position is responsible for planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of training programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track all training for employees, new hires, and temporary workers.
  • Assist in the development of job-specific training programs and SOPs
  • Act as the main point of contact for Alchemy training.  Assist with maintenance of the Alchemy system, troubleshoot issues as they arise, provide training to Supervisors and new users, and input training records into the database as needed
  • Assist the Shift Managers and Departmental Managers in recommending training that will give our team members all the required training needed as well as providing training to have people excel in their jobs
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality
  • Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual
  • Adhere to GMPs and Health and Safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Adhere to food safety practices and ensure they are being followed
  • Perform all other duties assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education preferred in a recognized program preferred
  • Previous work experience with training would be an asset
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter and independent
