To co-ordinate and carry out the scheduling of the preventative maintenance program for the Maintenance Department.

 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Communicate between all facets of the manufacturing team to schedule and prioritize the preventative maintenance assignments.
  • Review all incoming work requests and estimate cost of corrective action.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and schedule the work backlog by type and status
  • Produce planned work schedule for Maintenance, Engineering and Operations
  • Conduct follow-up to ensure satisfactory completion of required work
  • Responsible for updating the master file database
  • Maintain bills of materials and create requisitions for purchasing
  • Generate performance measurement reports for the SAP system
  • Be the key system owner for the computerized maintenance program
  • Maintain and adhere to the required hygiene, safety and quality standards on the production floor
  • Build parts kits for the large maintenance jobs
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative
  • Proven abilities in problem solving, conflict resolution, decision making and planning
  • Team player who can effectively collaborate with and support the Maintenance and Operations Departments
  • Flexible to undertake other work that may be assigned from time to time which may be outside the area of normal duties

 

 

 

Education, Technical Qualifications, Experience and Competencies Proficiency Level

 

Required

  • Industrial Electrician / Millwright  Certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Effective computer skills.  Must have working knowledge of SAP.

Salary: $95,000 - $102,000
