About the Role
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Coordinate and schedule daily receipt of raw materials and packaging into the Brantford (Ancaster) warehouse
- Accurately receive, record, and reconcile purchase orders and inventory transactions in SAP and the Warehouse Management System
- Review and process Stock Transport Orders (STOs) to support timely material flow to the Ancaster bakery
- Collaborate with Purchasing, QA, and Transportation teams to resolve receipt issues, PO revisions, and COA approvals
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and issue escalation
- Communicate effectively with internal and external drivers to manage dock assignments and transport documentation
- Promote a safe, clean, and compliant work environment while supporting quality and food safety standards
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid forklift operator license (Counterbalance, Walkie, Raymond Reach) from a recognized training provider
- Experience working with SAP or a similar warehouse management system
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of accuracy, numeracy, and PC literacy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, and light material handling
Shift & Schedule
- Monday to Friday business hours
Hourly Pay Rate: $ 27.24- $ 29.56
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Post‑secondary education
- Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or logistics environments
- Familiarity with RF (radio frequency) scanning systems
- Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving skills
- Experience supporting inventory control and cycle counting activities
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods
- Use of computer keyboard and monitor approximately 35–40% of the workday
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment when required
