Reporting to the VP Supply Chain Planning & Solutions, the Director, Supply Chain Systems Transformation will play a critical role in the continuous improvement of Aspire Bakeries’ Supply Chain and Commercialization capabilities through process and technology implementations, improvements, and support. The Director will establish and lead a new function that will support all Supply Chain and Commercialization implementations and changes, including ongoing process governance. This role will work with stakeholders to identify and implement optimal solutions for business process improvements, ensuring continuous enhancement of our supply chain systems. In addition to the main responsibilities, this business leader will be supporting the end-to-end (E2E) Supply Chain functional leaders in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA as an initial focus.
Accountabilities:
- Liaison between IT, Project/program management and the E2E Supply Chain team, including Commercialization, supporting solutioning, blueprinting, design, testing, implementation and support of Supply Chain technologies, including but not limited to Orchestr8 and SAP S/4HANA
- Thought Leader - Provide Supply Chain and Commercialization expertise on E2E design and solution, ensuring design aligns with and supports overall Aspire strategy, utilizing internal and external resources
- Stakeholder Management – communicates with functional process owners and manages stakeholders from the functional Supply Chain, Commercialization and IT teams, ensuring alignment to the solution, its benefits and their role in its execution
- Change Management - plays a critical role in managing change as the organization improves its maturity with Supply Chain technology, ensuring that changes are implemented effectively, including identifying training and support needs for end users and working with functional leaders to develop plans to address
- Champion the adoption of new or updated systems and practices that can deliver significant improvements and or provide competitive advantages
- Collaborate with leadership to translate business vision into scalable SAP solutions
- Possess significant business knowledge in assigned functional areas and interface across several business teams while acting as a visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction of future projects and enhancements
- Translate business opportunities/problems into compelling narratives for business needs and prioritization on the backlog
- Deliverables supporting process, technology, system changes and implementations completed on time
- Post Supply Chain and Commercialization changes and implementations, support enhancements and governance of processes related to Supply Chain enabling technologies and processes
- Prepare business cases with executive summaries, objectives, benefits, scope, cost estimates, and risks as well as other related documentation for ongoing management
- Assist with defining requirements, testing, and troubleshooting as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required - preferably in supply chain, operations, or related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, preferably across multiple areas (Demand/Supply/Materials Planning, Logistics, Scheduling, etc)
- Strong SAP experience and knowledge in Supply Chain functions; prior ERP systems implementation experience preferred.
- Project Management experience a plus, specifically related to supply chain technology implementations
