Inventory Specialist

Support  Inventory Control processes and procedures in order to facilitate accurate raw materials, packaging and finished goods inventory reporting (i.e. cycle counts, physical inventories, report development etc)

Responsibilities:

• Reporting weekly aged inventory
• Generate cycle counts and maintain data sheets
• Monitor cycle count accuracy
• Take part in product trace exercises
• Monitor and report warehouse capacity
• Daily auditing of line receipt accuracy
• Weekly monitoring and correction of IM/WM inventory
• Daily review, correction and follow up of incomplete SAP transactions
• Weekly review of part pallet inventory, plan and coordinate consolidation
• Liaise with Finance to investigate and correct goods receipt and process order variances, VIM
• Execute CORS reversals to correct finished goods variances
• Execute inventory returns against RAs from customer DCs
• Execute inventory returns to vendor for raw materials and packaging
• Weekly raw material reconciliation and reporting
• Weekly packaging inventory and reconciliation
• Introduce R&D inventory into SAP
• Plan and coordinate monthly cycle count of R&D inventory
• Primary backup for the Bakery SAP Clerk role
• Other duties as reasonably assigned

Qualifications:

• Post secondary diploma preferred
• Material handling experience preferred. 
• Previous experience in Warehouse Management Systems and inventory control procedures
• Strong systems abilities in SAP. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and other PC programs
• High level of interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail an absolute must
