About the Role

We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team at our Brantford bakery. As a Production Coordinator, you will be accountable for supporting daily production operations through accurate record management, inventory oversight, process auditing, and cross‑functional communication to ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $60,000 - $68,000

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Maintain, organize, and audit production records, shift reports, and support documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage daily inventory of bakery supplies, WIP materials, tools, trays, bins, and related items to support uninterrupted production.
  • Analyze, reconcile, and validate production, waste, regrade, and traceability data to support operational reporting.
  • Prepare and distribute production performance charts, quality alerts, and shift communication materials.
  • Coordinate offline order processes and ensure proper documentation for production vehicles, tools, and PM records.
  • Support cross‑functional communication with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and other departments regarding issues, alerts, or follow‑up actions.
  • Perform administrative and operational support tasks as assigned to help meet production and compliance requirements.

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related environment.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with SAP inventory applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Prior experience with administrative auditing, reporting, or documentation review.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with various teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Post‑secondary education in business, food science, or a technical field.
  • Experience coordinating production or inventory systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and reconcile operational data.
  • Familiarity with bakery or CPG production processes.
  • Experience improving recordkeeping or documentation workflows.
