About the Role
We are seeking an Operator 3, Production to join our team at our Brantford bakery. As an Operator 3, Production you will play a critical role in operating and monitoring high-speed bakery production lines to ensure continuous production, product quality, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: Rotating continental schedule
- Hours: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM / 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule: 2 weeks days followed by 2 weeks nights
- Weekend availability: Required
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $27.24
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Operate and monitor high-speed continuous donut, bread, and pastry production lines to ensure efficient output and consistent quality
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot line equipment to support continuous production
- Collaborate with production and quality teams throughout the shift to maintain operational flow and standards
- Manage and maintain adequate raw material stock at the production line
- Operate and monitor palletizing equipment for finished products
- Accurately enter inventory and production data into the warehouse management system
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to work a rotating continental shift schedule, including days and nights
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
- Ability to safely operate equipment and perform manual lifting as required
- Commitment to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Previous production line experience in the food manufacturing industry
- Forklift operation experience or certification
- Experience working in high-speed, continuous manufacturing environments
