About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Brantford, Ontario bakery. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality performance while leading and developing frontline teams to achieve operational goals.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: Rotating continental
  • Weekend Availability: Required

 

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Lead and engage production teams to achieve shift targets while maintaining a positive and productive work environment
  • Drive safety, food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all production activities
  • Monitor performance and support employee development through coaching, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Ensure consistent hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards on the production floor
  • Collaborate with operations, technical, and leadership teams to improve processes and line performance
  • Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Contribute technical input to standard work instructions and production documentation

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Post-secondary education in business, food science, or a technical trade
  • Experience supervising teams in a food production or manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards
  • Experience with technical documentation and troubleshooting processes
