About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Materials Management, to join our team at our Brantford bakery. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable mid‑ to long‑term ingredient and packaging supply while driving standardized, center-led materials management practices across the network. Your work will directly support bakery operations, Procurement, and cross‑functional partners to strengthen supply continuity and reduce risk. This role requires you to be onsite in Brantford four days per week, giving you hands-on collaboration with the team and daily exposure to the pulse of the business.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $86,000
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Lead mid‑ to long‑term ingredients and packaging planning to ensure stable and reliable material supply
- Manage and resolve material escalations for assigned bakeries to protect production continuity
- Strengthen alignment between Materials Management and Procurement through proactive communication and shared problem solving
- Implement and support center-led, standardized material management practices across the bakery network
- Analyze inventory, supplier performance, and cost impacts to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting and insights using tools such as Aera, SAP, and Supplier Scorecards
- Support accurate material data maintenance and supply planning inputs for assigned bakeries
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain or materials management
- Experience within food manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of material, ingredient, and packaging components
- Proven ability to support cost‑reduction initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet time-sensitive deadlines
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Experience with Aera, SAP, or similar planning/ERP systems
- Experience supporting or partnering with Procurement
- Background in process improvement or cross-functional project execution
- Ability to analyze financial and inventory trends to drive decisions
- Experience working across multi-site supply chain networks
