About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our Brantford, Ontario bakery. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee line performance and ensure smooth day-to-day operations, safety, and quality. You will lead and inspire your team to deliver excellent results while maintaining compliance with food safety and quality standards.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 1st
  • Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST
  • Weekend Availability: Required

 

Compensation

  • Salary: 80,000 – 85,000 CAD

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Lead and motivate production team members to achieve shift goals and maintain high morale.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure timely completion of performance reviews and development plans.
  • Promote a customer-first attitude through coaching and leading by example.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, legality, and quality standards across all operations.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards on the production floor.
  • Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical input for documentation such as SWIs, PPSs, and troubleshooting guides.

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to adapt to multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good oral and written English communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Post-secondary education in business, food science, or technical trades.
  • Experience supervising teams in a food production environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and troubleshooting processes.
