About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery Palletizer - 3rd Shift to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery Palletizer - 3rd Shift, you will be accountable for supporting packaging operations by operating and adjusting equipment, monitoring product quality, and troubleshooting equipment issues. This role helps ensure efficient production, product consistency, food safety, and operational excellence.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd Shift
• Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

• Operate and adjust packaging equipment to ensure efficient production and consistent product quality.
• Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout the packaging process.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor adjustments to minimize downtime.
• Maintain equipment settings, materials, and supplies to support uninterrupted production.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate production, quality, maintenance, and safety concerns to appropriate team members.
• Follow production schedules and running orders to achieve daily operational goals.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate strong observational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production demands.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, climb, push, and pull throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating packaging or production equipment.
• Equipment troubleshooting experience.
• Basic computer skills.
