The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of inventory management and logistics. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of ingredients and packaging materials to production lines, while also managing the accurate shipment of finished goods to our valued customers. Your ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team, optimize warehouse processes, and maintain a safe and organized work environment will be crucial to your success in this role.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Daily oversite of ingredient and packaging material requirements to support scheduled production
  • Daily oversite of adherence to REMIX movements
  • Daily oversite of Julian date/expire and FEFO movements
  • Daily oversite of material movements by Material Handlers to assure movements are being made physically and systematically.
  • Daily oversite and working with inventory team on damaged product, authorized disposals, and proper documentation and timely disposals required
  • Provide training, coaching, and accountability to all warehouse employees across all shifts of operation
  • Assist inventory and warehouse management in the creation and implementation of policies and procedures specific to activities involved with the FG freezer and storage of ingredients and finished goods.
  • Identify areas which need improvement and assist Department Manager with formulating and implementing corrective actions.
  • Works cooperatively with the Production departments to facilitate timely and accurate movements of ingredients, packaging materials, and occasional manual FG movements to the freezer.
  • Partners with the Production Scheduler and Production Leadership to ensure ingredients are used in a FIFO environment.
  • All other duties that are assigned by department management

 

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required, Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a food-manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment preferred
  • Previous forklift experience required, preferably stand up
  • SAP and or SAP WM experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
