About the Role
We are seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Compliance Supervisor to join our team at our Chaska, MN bakery. As a Food Safety Quality Assurance Compliance Supervisor, you will be accountable for ensuring day-to-day compliance with corporate, customer, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in food safety and quality systems.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $57,000–$86,000
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)
- Ensure compliance with corporate, customer, and regulatory requirements across all plant operations
- Lead internal audits and support external audits to maintain food safety and quality standards
- Drive corrective action processes and partner with managers to resolve compliance deviations
- Manage compliance documentation, certifications, and audit readiness records
- Analyze data, trends, and traceability to support product safety and operational excellence
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and food safety standards across the facility
- Support operations by backfilling production and FSQA leadership roles as needed
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution
- 4–8 years of progressive quality experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with GFSI and BRC standards implementation and auditing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Experience in bakery or food production environments
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Familiarity with SAP systems
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as A3
- Experience managing audit documentation and regulatory certifications
