About the Role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our Chaska bakery. As a Production Operator, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting production equipment to ensure food products consistently meet quality, safety, and specification standards.

 

Shift & Schedule

Shift: 3rd
Hours: 10PM – 6:30AM
Weekend Availability: Required

 

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $21.32

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery to ensure accuracy and compliance with food specifications.
  • Ensure all products meet established quality standards and report any deviations.
  • Maintain equipment settings and ensure proper supply levels to support continuous production.
  • Complete production documents and reporting accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with GMPs and safety guidelines.
  • Follow production schedules, running orders, and recipes to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Communicate safety, quality, production, and maintenance concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Equipment and product knowledge, including basic troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work safely around production machinery.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Experience in food manufacturing or a GMP‑regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with production machinery setup and changeovers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Experience in fast‑paced, high‑volume production settings.
  • Ability to identify and escalate equipment or quality issues.
