About the Role
We are seeking a Production Operator III to join our team at our Chaska, MN bakery. As a Production Operator III, you will be accountable for monitoring and controlling the Sheeter Line to ensure dough pieces are formed accurately, equipment operates efficiently, and products consistently meet quality, safety, and GMP standards.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 1st
- Hours: 6AM – 2:30PM
- Weekend availability: Required
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $23.80
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Operate, monitor, and adjust Sheeter Line equipment to ensure dough meets product specifications
- Maintain process control parameters, equipment settings, and documentation accuracy
- Support efficient line operation during start‑ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and employee breaks
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety standards, and production schedules
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding line status and quality conditions
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas across assigned production zones
- Provide coverage for absent employees and support team continuity
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong equipment and product knowledge with troubleshooting capability
- Ability to operate machinery independently and safely
- Good communication and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production tasks
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Previous food manufacturing experience
- Experience operating sheeting or dough‑handling equipment
- Familiarity with GMP‑regulated environments
- Ability to train or support other operators
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
