Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy to grow long term business, achieve assigned revenue and EBITDA goals.
  • Lead the team in new business development through prospecting activities.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management team to develop and implement plan to meet and exceed annual budget.
  • Proven track record and ability to work closely with R&D, Finance & Operations, Marketing and Commercialization teams to develop and commercialization product.
  • Reinvigorate large QSR relationships and ensure customer satisfaction for business growth.
  • Support operational processes (demand planning, scheduling, inventory control, logistics) in order to effectively execute based on customer needs
  • Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment
  • Prioritize business/customer development objectives to deliver maximum growth that is aligned with Aspire Bakeries strategic direction.
  • Develop relationships w/ largest customer partners and lead internal team to achieve goals. Build strategic plan and relationships for positioning Aspire in a leadership and category planning role.
  • Lead, develop & participate in presentations, negotiations, customer development meetings, and trade shows with key external & internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction stays high, develop lasting relationships with existing customers, and create new relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop Aspire’s strategies, as well as providing input in developing innovative new foods.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 8-10 years min. of sales experience in a senior sales role, on a national/international basis.
  • College/University degree required, MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceptional analytic capabilities. Ability to spot and successfully react to trends, patterns and opportunities.
  • Focused, with the leadership and experience to deliver consistent and unwavering messages.
  • Process oriented with a maniacal focus on results
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, negotiation, & relationship building abilities.
  • Strategic, resourceful, & creative individual who is a proven hands-on sales leader that thrives in a team environment.
  • Able to regularly transition between high-level, strategic work and detailed, tactical work.
  • Advanced software skills with common business applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Available and flexible for business travel (up to 50% )
  • General understanding of food/beverage/other CPG environments
