Aspire Bakeries is looking to hire Summer Contractors with functional experience in Human Resources, Training, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering/Continuous Improvement, Marketing, R&D, or Customer Development. The most successful candidates for Aspire Bakeries’ Summer Contractor Program will demonstrate hands-on contributions to projects in one or more functional areas and will have a strong academic record.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited community college, four-year university/college, or within 6 months post-graduation at time of application.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degreed program that suits one of the functional areas (Human Resources, Training, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering/Continuous Improvement, Marketing, R&D, or Customer Development).
  • Hands-on experience in project management, research, auditing, and analytics gained through project teams, prior internship, or work experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, accomplishing tasks in a fast-paced organization with varied resources
  • Intermediate skill level using Windows Operations Systems
  • Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Additional Information:

Program Eligibility:

  • Must be able to work full-time for a minimum of 8-10 consecutive weeks beginning June 14, 2021.
  • Must be able to work remotely or at a local office as needed. 
  • Must pass pre-employment screening with satisfactory results.
