As an MRO Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient supply of materials and services required for the maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities. Key accountabilities include inventory management, purchase order processing, vendor management, and finance reporting. Your role will involve purchasing and inventory control of maintenance supplies, maintaining in-house parts inventory, expediting orders, and providing weekly spend reports versus budget. Adherence to GMPs, health and safety rules, and food safety practices is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing and inventory control of maintenance supplie
- Maintaining in-house supply of parts inventory
- Expediting maintenance supplies
- Ordering, cataloguing, costing of parts
- Maintain a healthy open POs Backlog
- Periodic review of Inventory for Optimization
- Maintaining an accurate accruals
- Provide weekly spend reports vs budget
- Spare Part Capital Expenditure review
- Flexibility with scheduling to meet demands of department
- Assisting in maintenance administrative duties as required
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Adhere to GMP’s and Health and safety rules as outlined in employee handbook
- Adhere to food safety practices and ensure they are being followed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary school education in a technical field is preferred
- 5 years experience in a buyer position is required
- Knowledge in SAP, Excel, and Word is preferred
- Inventory systems and parts experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential
