About the Role
We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery – Packing (Grandi Remix Inspector) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery – Packing (Grandi Remix Inspector), you will be accountable for inspecting rejected products to verify automated system accuracy and ensuring all finished goods meet Aspire Bakeries’ food safety and quality standards.

- Weekend availability: Required
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)
- Inspect rejected finished products to verify automated vision system accuracy
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and GMP standards across all production activities
- Sort, repackage, or dispose of products according to company procedures and waste tracking requirements
- Communicate production issues effectively with cross-functional teams (QA, Maintenance, Sanitation)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production efficiency by following schedules, minimizing waste, and preparing for shift transitions
- Contribute to team performance through collaboration, problem-solving, and training support
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and timekeeping skills
- Ability to make logical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs and frequently carry 20+ lbs
- Ability to work in varying environments (cold, wet, hot, noisy, or confined spaces)
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Experience working with automated inspection or production systems
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a manufacturing setting
- Experience training or mentoring new employees
