About the Role

We are seeking a General Labor team member to join our Hazelton, CA bakery. As a General Labor worker, you will be accountable for inspecting, folding, measuring, and hand‑packing semi‑finished dough products to ensure they meet company, safety, and quality standards prior to freezing. This role plays a key part in preventing non‑conforming product from disrupting production and maintaining smooth line operations.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6AM – 2:30PM
• Weekend availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Inspect and hand‑pack semi‑finished dough products to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Support production flow by identifying, sorting, and communicating non‑conforming product issues
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and food safety requirements to maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist operators with line start‑up, shutdown, changeovers, and replenishment tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and support departments to maintain workflow
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by reducing waste and supporting team problem‑solving
• Prepare for next‑shift handoff and ensure accurate completion of required documentation

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills (English and/or Spanish)
• Ability to make logical decisions and follow safety and quality procedures
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or bakery environments
• Familiarity with GMPs or production processes
• Ability to assist in training new team members
• Comfort working across multiple production tasks as needed
