About the Role
Shift & Schedule
Weekend Availability: Required as needed based on production demand
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Accurately scale, mix, and record ingredients to meet product specifications and quality standards
- Operate, adjust, and maintain mixing equipment to support efficient production runs and minimize downtime
- Monitor and document production data including temperatures, mix times, and ingredient usage
- Communicate effectively with production teams, supervisors, and support departments to ensure smooth operations
- Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues, escalating as needed for resolution
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment in compliance with GMP and food safety standards
- Support team performance by assisting with training, changeovers, and cross-functional production needs
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills for production documentation and measurements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to make logical decisions and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs and perform frequent physical activity (standing, bending, climbing)
- Ability to work in variable environments (hot, cold, wet, dusty, or loud conditions)
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or bakery production environment
- Familiarity with SAP systems or production tracking processes
- Experience operating industrial mixing or processing equipment
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards
- Experience training or supporting new team members
