Operator 3, Bakery-Relief

Responsibilities:

• Learn and provide coverage for all production and packing positions while maintaining constant radio communication and serving as first point of contact for operational issues, escalating problems to appropriate departments and supervisors as needed
• Assist team members across all positions to ensure safe and efficient production runs while reporting any products that do not meet company quality standards to production supervisors
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas including proper waste management and animal feed bin removal at designated shift changes and product changeovers
• Follow safe operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices while performing all tasks required to meet production and efficiency standards with active participation in problem-solving and team decision-making
• Other duties as assigned
• Coordinate with team members to communicate line status changes, changeovers, and timing while troubleshooting issues collaboratively before involving support departments or supervisors

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills, in English.
• Ability to read and write in English, and use of basic math and time keeping.
• Able to make logical decisions.
• Previous work history in a food manufacturing facility.
• Weekends, Holidays, and Overtime as required
