About the Role

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Support production continuity by covering all positions across Production and Packing as needed
- Coordinate and communicate line status, including startups, changeovers, and shutdowns, to ensure efficiency
- Monitor product quality and verify adherence to company, customer, and food safety standards
- Troubleshoot minor equipment and operational issues while escalating critical concerns appropriately
- Train and support new hires, temporary staff, and team members across roles
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment aligned with GMP and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Sanitation, QA, Shipping) to resolve issues and optimize production
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math and timekeeping skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs and frequently carry 20+ lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and work in varying environments (hot, cold, wet, loud, or confined spaces)
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or bakery production environment
- Experience operating or troubleshooting production or packaging equipment
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards
- Experience training or mentoring team members
- Strong communication skills in a team-based production setting
