About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager, West Region, to join our team. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be accountable for driving revenue, distribution, and profitability while leading the commercial relationship with key customers across the western region. Your leadership within this strategically important grocery customer will directly influence growth and long‑term partnership success. This role strengthens Aspire’s presence with one of our most critical retail partners and drives profitable growth through disciplined execution and strategic customer leadership.

 

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $108,000 – 145,000

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Lead customer strategy and commercial execution across assigned west‑region grocery customers
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long‑term growth and joint business planning
  • Develop customer‑specific strategies informed by category insights, shopper trends, and competitive intelligence
  • Manage trade budgets, promotional strategy, and customer‑specific P&L components to deliver profitable growth
  • Drive distribution expansion, merchandising excellence, and flawless execution of new item launches and resets
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to align forecasts, inventory planning, marketing support, and supply chain needs
  • Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust plans to consistently deliver revenue and distribution targets

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–8+ years of progressive CPG sales experience
  • Direct experience owning major grocery customers, ideally within the western region
  • Strong understanding of retailer systems, structures, and decision‑making processes
  • Proven ability to deliver revenue, distribution, and profitability targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional partners and operate effectively as a senior individual contributor

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience working with Albertsons/Safeway or other large, multi‑division grocery customers
  • Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and trade management
  • Proficiency with syndicated data platforms and retailer portals
  • Knowledge of grocery retail dynamics and emerging category trends
