About the Role

We are seeking a Packing Relief Operator to join our team. As a Packing Relief Operator, you will be accountable for ensuring uninterrupted production and packing operations by providing relief coverage across departmental positions during breaks and lunches. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, and operational efficiency while supporting continuous production flow.

Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $23.00

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

  • Support production and wrapping operations to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Provide relief coverage for multiple positions within the department during breaks and lunches.
  • Execute responsibilities of assigned positions while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of boxes, packaging materials, and production supplies to support continuous operations.
  • Ensure products consistently meet company quality standards and specifications.
  • Follow and uphold GMPs, Food Safety, Quality, Allergen, and HACCP requirements.
  • Complete accurate documentation and promptly report food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to supervision.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and complete accurate, legible documentation.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple production-related functions.
  • Knowledge of or ability to follow GMP, food safety, allergen, and HACCP procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Previous bakery or food manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working in packaging, wrapping, or production support operations.
  • Familiarity with food safety and quality management systems.
  • Experience maintaining production supplies and packaging materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple production assignments.
