About the Role

We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a Production Operator, you will be accountable for setting up and operating the Divider/V‑Mag to ensure consistent product quality, monitoring dough characteristics, and maintaining equipment to support safe, efficient production.

 

Shift & Schedule

  • Shift: 2nd
  • Hours: 2PM – 10:30PM
  • Weekend Availability: Based on production needs

 

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $23.00

 

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)

  • Set up and operate the Divider/V‑Mag to ensure consistent product quality
  • Monitor dough consistency and collaborate with Mixing and Production leadership
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure proper flow of materials (e.g., cornmeal, hopper scraping)
  • Hand‑stack muffin trays and ensure proper product handling before proofing
  • Complete accurate, legible production documentation in compliance with quality standards
  • Communicate food safety or equipment concerns promptly to supervision
  • Support additional production tasks to meet operational needs

 

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
  • Ability to read, write, and complete legible and accurate documentation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

 

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Experience operating Dividers, V‑Mags, or similar production equipment
  • Prior experience in commercial baking or food manufacturing
  • Knowledge of GMPs and food safety standards
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
