About the Role

We are seeking a General Labor – Packaging Support team member to join our Santa Ana bakery. In this role, you will assist the Packaging Lead in overseeing proper packaging of products, monitoring quality, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $19.00

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Monitor product quality prior to clamshell/case packaging.
• Ensure proper closure of clamshells before packing into cases.
• Report product anomalies or issues to Lead.
• Remove out-of-spec products from the line.
• Monitor packaging equipment for proper operation and accurate speeds, report issues for repair.
• Discard scrap product properly by separating clamshells/trays from finished product.
• Assist with packaging rework as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Elementary-level English literacy.
• No prior experience required.
• GMP/HACCP certification (in-house).
