Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our production equipment running smoothly and efficiently. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist production teams with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and PLC system issues, and ensure equipment operates safely within our production schedule. This hands-on role requires experience with power tools, machinery, and maintenance management systems, along with a commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Gives priority to and executes on all verbal assignments from production management and maintenance management.
• Completes written work orders as assigned.
• Completes daily tasks from the Facilities checklist. 
• Inspects the water boiler daily and is responsible for checking chemical tank, releasing pressure and checking salt levels.  Makes adjustments to boiler as needed.
• Assists the mechanics as needed.
• Conducts daily facility walk-thru inspection, identifying and resolving issues immediately.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of maintenance shop and yard.
• Performs maintenance detail work at Rialto warehouse as needed.
• Performs special projects as assigned.
• Follows rules and regulations to ensure food safety, quality, and legality.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• 1 + years of maintenance expereince in a manufacturing environment preferred
• GMP/HACCP Certificate (in-house), sit- down & stand-up forklift certified, boom/scissor lift certified preferred.
