As a General Labor worker you will monitor the tray line, ensuring an even flow of trays during production. Responsibilities include stacking trays of bread onto pallets and dollies, shrink wrapping stacks, and staging them for shipping. The role also involves assisting with product rotation in the freezer, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to GMP and quality management procedures. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail to support high food safety and quality standards.
Accountabilities:
- Monitors tray line to ensure an even flow of trays during production
- Stacks trays of bread onto pallets at a height of 20 to 26 trays high.
- Stacks trays of bread onto dollies 24-36 trays high.
- Shrink wraps stacks of bread and stages them in a staging area for shipping to load onto outbound trucks.
- Assists with rotation of product in freezer.
- Assists with stacking trays 70 high for outbound shipments.
- Keeps area clean and all barrels dumped.
- Follows all company GMP and quality management procedures to maintain high food safety and quality standards.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must be available to work any shift.
- All other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Ability to lift 10lb. pans throughout an 8-hour shift
- Ability to push and pull 220lb. pan carts several times throughout an 8-hour shift
Hourly Rate: $24.28
