Liaise between centralized payables department and plants to ensure flow of information through Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) System.  Responsible for accounting and reporting for one bakery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key contact for Vendor Invoice Management System.  Ensure proper coding and routing of invoices for final approval.
• Research open items in Goods Received account, and make recommendations for resolution of open items.
• Perform accounting and reporting functions for one bakery, including but not limited to:
  • Assist with month end close.
  • Prepare journal entries as directed.
  • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Financially settle and close process orders.
• Other projects as needed.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting
• 2 years relevant accounting experience
• Computer literate in spreadsheet and word applications
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Understanding of cost accounting, month end closings and journal entries
• Self-starter, dependable, adaptable, and requires minimal supervision  

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000
