About the Role
We are seeking a General Labor Production team member to join our team at our Swedesboro bakery. As a General Labor Production member, you will be accountable for supporting the final shaping, slicing, and handling of bakery products to ensure they meet quality specifications, while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.

Shift: 3rd
Hours: 10:00pm – 6:30am
Weekend Availability: Required
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $18.00
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)
- Monitor and support scoring, proofing, and oven processes to ensure products meet quality specifications.
- Maintain correct product alignment and spacing throughout production flow for optimal baking and cooling.
- Uphold food safety, GMP, sanitation, and safety standards across all assigned production areas.
- Identify and report equipment issues, quality deviations, or potential mechanical failures promptly.
- Perform routine documentation, line checks, and required production records accurately and on time.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, waste reduction, and process consistency through AOE tools.
- Collaborate with operators, line leadership, and production teams to meet daily production targets.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Problem‑solving and reasoning skills within a fast‑paced production environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Ability to work weekends and required shift schedule.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Prior experience in a fast‑paced production or packing environment.
- Experience working in food manufacturing or bakery operations.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or similar food safety standards.
- Experience using production systems or automated equipment.
- Exposure to continuous improvement tools or lean manufacturing environments.
