About the Role

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Laborer, you will support daily production operations by assisting with packaging, labeling, sanitation, and equipment support to ensure product quality, food safety, and efficient workflow in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 10:00PM – 6:30AM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $18.00 – $19.25

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Support production and packaging operations to meet daily output and quality goals
• Package, label, stack, and palletize finished bakery products according to specifications
• Maintain clean, organized work areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with line changeovers and product transitions to support production flow
• Inspect products for quality defects and report issues promptly
• Follow all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Collaborate with team members and supervision to ensure safe and efficient operations

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Basic understanding of English
• Bilingual skills
