About the Role

Compensation
- $18.00 hourly
Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
- Support bakery production operations to ensure products are produced according to specifications.
- Maintain sanitation standards for equipment, workstations, and production areas.
- Monitor production processes and report operational, quality, or safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, quality assurance, and workplace safety requirements.
- Identify and communicate product quality or contamination risks.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence and waste reduction.
- Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while supporting team goals.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic verbal and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and stooping.
- Ability to lift and dump up to 50 pounds and safely handle heavier loads with assistance from co-workers.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, production, food processing, or packaging environment.
- Prior bakery or food manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Experience participating in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Experience working with production equipment and reporting operational concerns.
