About the Role
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)
- Ensure production line positions (mixing, sheeting, oven, packing) are properly covered during breaks and absences
- Operate and support multiple bakery processes to maintain product quality and consistency
- Follow Aspire SOPs, equipment manuals, and standard work procedures
- Collaborate with Operators and Leads to optimize line performance
- Identify issues through daily area walks and support waste reduction efforts
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (AOE)
- Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, and health & safety standards
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an Ingredient Operator or related role
- Basic knowledge of dough mixing and production equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret scale and temperature measurements
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to accurately document production and ingredient data
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance up to 100 lbs)
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
- Experience in a fast-paced production or food manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with continuous improvement tools (e.g., Centerline, CIL)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience working with computer systems and production interfaces
