About the Role

We are seeking a Tech 3, Bakery-Maintenance to join our team at our Swedesboro bakery. As a Tech 3, you will be accountable for maintaining all plant and production electrical and control systems, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and network sub-systems. You will also train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts and assist in troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis to ensure production schedules are met.

  • Shift: 2nd
  • Hours: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Sun - Thurs)
  • Weekend availability: [Required]

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $36–$37

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

  • Maintain documentation of all electrical and control systems, including hardware and software.
  • Assist Electro-Mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing electrical or control-related failures.
  • Train and coordinate activities of Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
  • Perform preventive, scheduled, and corrective repairs on production equipment and control systems.
  • Maintain plant secondary systems (steam, water, air, refrigeration, HVAC, emissions control).
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality control, and government regulations.
  • Complete work records and documentation in accordance with company standards.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control system documentation.
  • Working knowledge of control system projects and programming (A/B Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
  • Strong math and reasoning skills; ability to interpret graphs and diagrams.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals, and maintenance instructions.
  • Effective oral communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Knowledge of Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi software and preventive maintenance systems.
  • AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Background in machine and electrical control system installation.
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex control systems.
