About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Customer Development to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary partner for our strategic non-commercial accounts, ensuring alignment across supply chain, marketing, sales, and operations to drive revenue, growth, and exceptional customer experience. You will act as the connector between customers and internal teams, ensuring flawless execution and deepening partnership opportunities.
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

Lead non-commercial and GPO customer partnerships to drive volume through new placements, promotions, and merchandising.

Serve as the expert on assigned customers, aligning Aspire strategies to their key initiatives and long-term goals.

Drive cross-functional execution by partnering with Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Brand teams.

Champion internal alignment across the Customer Development team to ensure cohesive strategies and execution.

Own annual revenue targets and manage the business end-to-end to achieve results.

Ensure delivery expectations are met by working closely with production and supply teams.

Resolve quality or food safety concerns quickly with solutions and action plans.

Lead customer presentations, business reviews, and industry event engagements.

Strengthen customer relationships through trust, proactive communication, and opportunity identification.

Support planning, reporting, quota-setting, sales process optimization, training, and overall sales organization effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
-
5+ years of sales or sales management experience, preferably in the food or foodservice channel.

Proven success managing large Canadian non-commercial or GPO accounts.

Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to operate at both high-level and detailed execution.

Excellent communication skills with confidence presenting internally and externally.

Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships across departments.

Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

Experience in large CPG, foodservice, or distribution environments.

Working knowledge of supply chain and/or customer development functions.

Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian customer markets.
