The Senior Manager, Customer Development will support the Key Strategic Partners & business. This role will support business leaders responsible for these accounts that we deliver against key revenue targets and execution strategies maintaining and protecting the growth of our business. 

This role will support the  business from end-to-end supply chain, include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training and sales program implementation. This role is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, Customer Development and also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the sales organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Key Strategic Parnter key accounts to achieve volume goals through new placements, positioning, merchandising and promotion.
  • Serve as expert with this assigned customer, understanding the customer’s corporate strategy, and how to align the company with the customer’s strategy.
  • Collaborate with customer cross functional teams to implement new projects and work with internal teams (ex. Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing and Brand Management) to develop and implement plans.
  • Communicate with existing Aspire customer development to make sure we are cohesive and aligned to Aspire’s overall strategic direction.
  • Manage and drive this strategic account from end to end, and ensuring we meet and exceed our annual targets.
  • Works with internal stakeholders to ensure we meet the customers’ expectations on product.
  • Able to respond quickly to any quality or food safety opportunities and provide solutions and next steps.
  • Lead & participate in presentations, negotiations, sales meetings, and trade shows with key external & internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction stays high, develop lasting relationships with existing customers, and create new relationships.
  • Provide thought senior leadership in driving distribution growth on current foods and new launches.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment. 
  • Food experience strongly preferred.
  • Strategic, resourceful, & creative individual who is a proven hands-on sales leader that thrives in a fast-paced team environment. 
  • Experience with large canadian brands and/or QSR businesses
  • Flexible personality and able to regularly transition between high-level, strategic work and detailed, tactical work.
  • Computer/Software Skills: Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
