About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery–Warehouse to join our team at our Van Nuys, CA bakery. As an Operator 3 in Warehouse Operations, you will be accountable for ensuring accurate inventory movement, safe forklift operation, and efficient flow of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role is essential for maintaining warehouse accuracy, supporting production, and ensuring timely shipments.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 3:00PM – 11:30PM
• Weekend availability: Required

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $22.25 – $24.00

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Manage accurate receiving, storage, inventory, and shipment of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods using SAP
• Operate forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and stage materials in accordance with warehouse standards
• Support order fulfillment by preparing, picking, and staging customer orders for shipment
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and ensure proper rotation of materials using FIFO
• Coordinate inventory storage locations, warehouse organization, and freezer/cooler placements
• Communicate equipment issues, safety risks, or quality concerns to supervisors promptly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP‑compliant work environment

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of related manufacturing or warehouse experience (or equivalent training)
• Valid forklift license; strong understanding of safe forklift operation’
• Ability to read and interpret schedules, safety regulations, and operating instructions
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to lift, move, or palletize materials safely in a cold/frozen warehouse environment
• Ability to complete documentation in English clearly and accurately

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Experience using SAP or inventory control software
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or GMP‑regulated environments
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to organize warehouse space for optimal flow and efficiency
